Baptism
Jesus’ command was ‘believe and be baptised,’ (Mark 16:16). Baptism in full immersion is a declaration of faith and being ‘fully immersed’ in Christ as His follower.
Life Groups
For a closer connection, prayerful support and living the shared life of faith together, Life Groups can be an integral part of walking with Jesus.
Prayer Triplets
As Jesus had the 12, he also had the 3 who He discipled with a closer connection. Journeying in prayer with two others can be faith-affirming as we follow Jesus.
Membership
As Baptists we believe in the priesthood of all believers and we can express that by becoming covenant members with Bovey Baptist.
Giving
Giving is a natural part of our worship as we believe that ‘giving is greater than receiving‘ (Acts 20:35).
Although we don’t give begrudgingly as ‘Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.’ (2 Cor 9:7)
