During the term we meet in our Baptist Chapel on Friday Nights (times vary) where we have:
Friday Night Dinner
Have you ever noticed Jesus seemed to revolved His ministry around tables? He ate at people’s homes and discipled people through closer relationships over a meal.
Every couple of weeks (or so) we meet slightly earlier to eat, chat, pray and get relational.
Occasionally we will have a ‘Bible & Breakfast’ Morning too!
Friday Night Houseparty
We want young people to have the opportunity to introduce their friends to the Church community, explore faith AND meet with Jesus.
The Houseparty is our outreach night, seeker friendly and ready to give hope to younger people who desperately need it.
Selah Prayer Nights
Jesus spent a good time separating Himself from the crowds to be still and seek His Father. ‘Selah’ is a word used in the Psalms (probably) meaning to ‘stop and think about it.’
We use these times to be quiet, seek Jesus in worship and to not focus on the busyness of our everyday lives to re-centre. There are several prayer activities bringing us to an understanding of quiet worship that’s needed in our noisy and crowded lives.
Film Nights
Who doesn’t like a film night? We crack out the popcorn, chill out in our upper room and enjoy an appropriate film.
Simple.
Y@BB on sundays
Y@BB sunday studies
Every first and third (and sometimes fifth) Sundays during term time the youth will go out to their ‘Sunday Studies’ where we look at practical Christian living.
We look at the same passage the adults look at but from a different perspective with occasional games, interactions and time of prayer.
